Copan Diagnostics UniVerse

Copan Diagnostics has launched a molecular diagnostics sample processing system called UniVerse that automatically manages accessioning, labeling, vortexing, and aliquoting samples into secondary assay tubes or 96-well plates. UniVerse can automatically decap and process various specimen tubes without the need to remove a swab, process different types of specimens, and can manage different types of secondary assay tubes that are either capped or uncapped. It also interfaces with laboratory information systems.
