SpeeDx Signs UK, Ireland Distribution Deal

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Australian diagnostics firm SpeeDx announced today that it has signed a distribution deal for its molecular diagnostics in the UK and Ireland with Serosep.

Under the terms of the deal, Serosep will offer SpeeDx's line of multiplexed PlexPCR and ResistancePlus tests throughout the territories. Additional terms were not disclosed.

Last year, SpeeDx — which recently opened a US subsidiary — received CE-IVD marking for its PlexPCR VHS test for VZV, herpes, and syphilis. It also offers the ResistancePlus MG assay for Mycoplasma genitalium. In September, SpeeDx signed a distribution deal for its products covering Scandinavia with Diagen.
