NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) — Premaitha Health said today that it has partnered with This is My, a private ultrasound and pregnancy screening clinic group in the UK, to offer its Iona noninvasive prenatal test.
Under the agreement, This is My will offer the test at its clinics in Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Hull, Coventry, Halifax, Durham, and London.
The Iona test estimates the risk of trisomy 21, 13, 18, and other genetic conditions in a fetus and has a turnaround time of five days. This is My is offering the test on its own for £360 ($570) or combined with an ultrasound for £450 ($710).
Earlier this year, Premaitha signed similar agreements with laboratories in Poland, Switzerland, and the UK.
