LifeCodexx, LifeCell Partner to Offer PrenaTest in India

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – LifeCodexx announced today that it has signed an agreement to sell its PrenaTest noninvasive prenatal screening test in India through preventative healthcare provider LifeCell.

According to LifeCodexx, LifeCell will offer the test under its BabyShield brand. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"We are very pleased to have partnered with LifeCell since they have a longstanding expertise in the field of preventive healthcare services for mother and child in the Indian market," LifeCodexx CEO Michael Lutz said in a statement.

Earlier this year, LifeCodexx partnered with Sengenics to sell PrenaTest in Southeast Asia. And last year, LifeCodexx forged alliances with other companies covering the UK and Ireland, Germany, and Switzerland.
