Bio-Rad Laboratories, Roche Enter Quality Control Partnership

NEW YORK – Bio-Rad Laboratories announced Friday a global partnership with Roche to provide Bio-Rad's InteliQ quality control products.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bio-Rad will provide Roche's customers access to the range of InteliQ QC tubes as well as the Unity QC data management solutions to help streamline a lab's QC workflow, reduce turnaround time, and increase a lab's overall performance. The partnership also covers customer training and support services.

The InteliQ products are barcoded, load-and-go tubes that reduce manual QC steps and enable sample tracking and simplified data upload, while the Unity QC data management solutions connect large peer groups of test systems and assay methods to the Unity Interlaboratory Program, enabling labs to compare their results in real time with over 25,000 other labs worldwide, Bio-Rad said in a statement.
