New Products: Innopsys' InnoScan 910 Scanner; BioDiscovery's Nexus Copy Number for Affymetrix

Premium

Innopsys has launched its newest microarray scanner, the InnoScan 910 microarray scanner. The two-color fluorescence scanner is capable of reading high-density microarrays with a resolution of 1 micron per pixel. According to the Carboneau, France-based company, the 910 can read two detection channels in under four minutes with a 10 micron per pixel maximum reading area. The system also includes a barcode reader, providing accurate control of the acquired images, and is supplied with a validation slide and the company's Mapix software.

BioDiscovery and Affymetrix have jointly announced the availability of Nexus Copy Number for Affymetrix, a new analysis software designed specifically for data generated by Affymetrix's genetic analysis platforms for cancer research, such as its CytoScan Cytogenetics Suite and its OncoScan FFPE Assay Kit.
