Exiqon last week launched the seventh generation of its MiRcury LNA microRNA Arrays for expression profiling of microRNA from human, mouse and rat.
Exiqon's arrays consist of 3,100 capture probes that cover all mature microRNAs annotated in miRBase release 18.0 for human, mouse, and rat, including related viral and additional 25 proprietary validated human, mouse, and rat microRNAs not yet listed in the miRBase.
In total, almost 1,900 human microRNAs are covered by the array. The chip has more than 800 new microRNA capture probes compared to the previous version of the array, Exiqon said.
