People in the News: Laura Lauman, Omead Ostadan

Illumina has appointed Laura Lauman to be VP of marketing. In leading global marketing efforts, she will assume the responsibilities of Omead Ostadan, who has taken a new executive leadership role with the company.

Lauman formerly was president of AB Sciex and she spent 15 years at Life Technologies/Applied Biosystems, where she was division president and GM of the Proteomics and Small Molecule Division. She also held commercial and business leadership roles at PerkinElmer and Waters.
