NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Exact Sciences today said that it has raised net proceeds of $27.1 million in a public offering of common stock.

The company sold a total of 3,593,750 shares of its common stock at $8 per share. The underwriters on the offering exercised their over-allotment option in full, Exact Sciences said.

RW Baird acted as sole book-running manager in the offering. William Blair was co-manager.
