Inno-train Diagnostik, Jeta Molecular Ink Marketing, Distribution Deal

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Inno-train Diagnostik, a German molecular kit developer, has signed a distribution and codevelopment agreement with Dutch reagent and software maker Jeta Molecular, the firms announced today. Both firms provide PCR products focused on the transplant monitoring market.

Under the agreement, Inno-train will distribute Jeta's qPCR reagent and software suite, called QTRACE, in the US and in most of Europe excluding France. In addition, the companies plan to codevelop new diagnostic applications, according to a statement. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Kronberg, Germany, and with a US subsidiary in Clinton, NY, Inno-train Diagnostik designs, develops, and commercializes molecular kits, reagents, and systems for the transplant and transfusion markets, as well as TaqMan PCR kits and systems for HLA-, red blood cell-, and HPA-typing.

Jeta Molecular develops and commercializes reagent and software solutions for transplant monitoring from its headquarters in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Its QTRACE Analysis System is intended for the quantitative measurement of recipient-derived, genomic DNA from white blood cells in peripheral blood or bone marrow to help monitor response to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
