Weizmann Institute Releases New Version of Database of Human Chromosome Maps

REHOVOT, Israel--The Weizmann Institute has released version 1.07 of UDB, the Unified Database for Human Genome Mapping. The database, available at http://bioinformatics.weizmann.ac.il/udb/doc/release_ notes.html presents an integrated map for each human chromosome, based on data integrated from various radiation hybrid, linkage, and physical mapping resources. The integrated map currently includes genes, STSs, and EST clusters, with further links to the Genome Database, GeneCards, and UniGene.
