Vysis Announces That Habschmidt Is New CFO

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.--Vysis, a genomic diagnostics company here, has named James Habschmidt as its chief financial officer. Habschmidt was formerly executive vice-president of business development and finance and chief financial officer of Rand McNally.

Among its other products, Vysis offers a line of genetic imaging workstations. Habschmidt "will play an active role in corporate developments as Vysis continues to expand its market presence," predicted John Bishop, Vysis's president and CEO.
