NN ARBOR, Mich.--The Howard Hughes Medical Institute announced that it would grant the University of Michigan Medical School $4 million during the next four years to support a new interdisciplinary program in bioinformatics. As part of its Life Sciences Initiative, the school will offer graduate education and support research in bioinformatics.
