Two Genomics Patents for Mass. General Hospital

OCKVILLE, Md.--Two functional genomics and drug discovery patents have been issued to Massachusetts General Hospital and exclusively licensed to Life Technologies here. The patents for the Reverse Two-Hybrid System cover methods and reagents for characterization of large-molecule interactions within organisms. The system is designed to help achieve understanding of cellular mechanisms for the development of more targeted and effective drugs, the company said.
