TissueInformatics Speeds Database Development And Internet Capabilities


PITTSBURGH--TissueInformatics, a new company here specializing in human, plant, and animal tissue imaging and image information management with broad applications in genomics and agricultural biotechnology, has formed an alliance with multimedia software company VS Interactive.

TissueInformatics said the alliance will accelerate its database development and internet capabilities. Raymond Vennare, CEO of VS Interactive, will also serve as the chief information officer for TissueInformatics. Peter Johnson, CEO of issueInformatics, said his company is positioned to become a leading provider of tissue information systems designed to "help companies leverage a deeper understanding of the human, plant, or animal tissue they work with."
