TATAA Integrates Ingenuity’s iReport into PCR Services Offering

Premium

TATAA Biocenter said this week that its service offering will now include high-throughput gene expression profiling with Ingenuity iReport, Ingenuity Systems’ web-based tool for analyzing gene expression data from RNA sequencing, microarray, and real-time PCR experiments.

TATAA said that the combined solution will enable its laboratories to provide contract research for a full range of qPCR services, including primer and probe design, validation, kit and instrument evaluation, and biological and statistical analysis.

This arrangement provides an “opportunity for researchers to get access to a complete qPCR workflow,” according to Bryant Macy, Ingenuity’s senior vice president for products and marketing.

Mikael Kubista, TATAA’s founder and CEO, said that TATTA selected iReport after evaluating various alternatives because “it provides a smooth workflow with data collected on our OpenArray and BioMark high throughput qPCR platforms, reads batch-wise into GenEx software for multivariate statistical analysis, and provides an easy, accurate, web-based biological and statistical interpretation tool.”
