NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Bioinformatics firm Systems Imagination announced today that it has partnered with 3Scan to offer three-dimensional pathology imaging and analytical services for healthcare and life science customers.
Under the terms of the deal, the companies will combine Systems Imagination's integrative genomic and multi-scalar data analysis services with 3Scan's 3D reconstructive tissue imaging technology.
"Together, we will be able to provide the pharmaceutical industry with a streamlined solution for more powerful analytical approaches to research and understand the molecular basis of diseases and how the development of innovative therapies they are bringing to market can be accelerated," Systems Imagination CEO Chris Yoo said in a statement.
Specific terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
The deal comes less than a week after Systems Imagination partnered with Macrogen to improve the production and analysis of genomic data, and a few months after the company inked a drug-development services alliance with Cofactor Genomics.
