Symyx Isentris Integrates Out-of-the-Box With TIBCO Spotfire DecisionSite
Symx said this week that it has integrated the Symyx Isentris informatics system, previously called MDL Isentris with the TIBCO Spotfire DecisionSite visual analytics platform.
The collaboration is the result of a strategic partnership between Symyx and TIBCO Spotfire. Now, working within Isentris, researchers can locate and pull together disparate data from multiple internal and external sources and send their data to Spotfire DecisionSite, the companies said.
Syngene International Adopts Symyx's DiscoveryGate
Syngene has licensed Symyx's online DiscoveryGate content platform, Symx announced this week.
The platform includes CrossFire Beilstein, Patent Chemistry Database, Symyx Available Chemicals Directory and a selection of Symyx synthetic methodology databases. Syngene is a Bangalore-based custom research company offering multidisciplinary drug discovery services in synthetic chemistry and molecular biology.
The DiscoveryGate platform is supported on both the Microsoft Windows and Mac OSX platforms.
Rosetta Syllego Achieves Affy GeneChip-Compatible Status
Rosetta Biosoftware said this week that its Rosetta Syllego system has achieved GeneChip-compatible status for use with the Affymetrix microarray platform.
The compatibility should help research organizations conducting genome-wide association and other genetic studies to focus on revealing genetic risk factors and therapies for diseases, such as coronary artery disease, type 2 diabetes, and other complex diseases, the company said.
Rosetta Syllego offers genotyping data management, quality control, data analysis, and meta-analysis. The system brings together genotyping data generated by Affymetrix and other microarray platforms, the company said.
GenoLogics Announces Partnership with London Genetics
GenoLogics, a developer of lab and data management software solutions for life sciences research, said this week that it will work closely with London Genetics.
By partnering with GenoLogics, London Genetics plans to further its efforts in building a research network of scientists and clinicians through joint workshops and scientific forums.
GenoLogics supplies application-specific modules, complemented by the company’s configurable, integrating lab informatics platform.
