Swedish Institution Taps GenoLogics LIMS for NGS Analysis Support

Premium

GenoLogics said this week that the Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab), a molecular biosciences research center based in Sweden, will use its Clarity Laboratory Information Management System software to support its next-generation sequencing workflows.

Specifically, SciLifeLab is implementing Clarity LIMS in its clinical genomics lab. In a statement, Per Kraulis, SciLifeLab's manager of genomics IT, said that his lab chose Clarity LIMS "because it was engineered specifically for next generation sequencing and it provided the best fit." Also attractive was "the ability to easily configure and customize Clarity LIMS to work with new workflows and in-house systems," he added.

The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
