Swedish Firm Spotfire Opens US Headquarters


CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--Spotfire, a Swedish supplier of data exploration and collaborative discovery products to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, announced the opening of a new headquarters here to house US sales, customer support, and consulting services. Spotfire technology is used to support early-stage research activities, such as high-throughput screening, genomics, lead optimization, combinatorial chemistry, and biostatistics. The company was founded in 1996 in Goteborg and will maintain its headquarters and development center there. Rock Steven Gnatovich was recently named Spotfire's president and chief operating officer.
