Stafford Brignac, James Myer.


Stafford Brignac has been promoted to vice president of engineering at Genometrix, where he will be responsible for development of software and information systems and automation.

Prior to joining Genometrix in 1998, Brignac developed automation systems at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center’s Genome Science and Technology Center in support of the Human Genome Project.

Structural Bioinformatics has appointed James Myer, founder and president of Photon Research Associates, to its board of directors. Myer was instrumental in forming PRA subsidiary Moldyn, which was recently acquired by SBI.

Myer also serves on the Army science board and is scientific advisor to governmental policy-making groups.
