Spotfire of Cambridge, Mass., has released its third generation of gene expression analysis software, Spotfire Array Explorer. The product is integrated with the Spotfire.net Web-based decision analytics platform and provides links to genomic content and instrumentation providers, software for gene expression analysis, as well as the ability to cooperate with colleagues in discovery research.

Spotfire Array Explorer links to the GeneCards, Kegg, SwissProt, GenBank, OMIM, and Entrez databases and is integrated with offerings from Affymetrix, Genomic Solutions, Incyte Genomics, Molecular Dynamics, PPGx, and Proteome.
