SignalGene, National Research Council Form Genomics Collaboration


MONTREAL--SignalGene announced that it has formed a functional genomics collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada’s Institute for Biological Sciences to study neurodegenerative diseases. The collaboration’s objective is to identify novel targets to develop new therapeutic drugs to treat disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. SignalGene will apply its proprietary technologies to analyze gene expression patterns in human pathology samples and biological models of neuro-degeneration prepared for or developed by NRC researchers.
