Richard Judson, Gualberto Ruano, Lacey Brandt, Clare "Bud" Bromley


Richard Judson has been promoted to CSO from senior vice president of medical affairs and informatics at Genaissance Pharmaceuticals following the resignation of the company's current CSO, co-founder Gualberto Ruano.


Spotfire has hired Lacey Brandt as CFO. Brandt most recently was the CFO of database software provider eXcelon, where she positioned the company for its mid-1990s IPO. Spotfire, a privately traded company, said that its worldwide business for the quarter ended June 30, 2002, was up 30 percent year-over-year, and year-to-date business results showed a 27 percent increase over 2002.


ViaLogy has tapped Clare “Bud” Bromley as vice president, business development. Bromley most recently served as vice president of business development for Discovery Partners International.
