Raphael Gottardo

Bioinformatician Raphael Gottardo is joining the Institut de Recherches Cliniques de Montréal as director of the computational biology research unit. He is the institute’s first bioinformatician, according to a statement by IRCM.
Prior to this post, Gottardo was an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics and a member of the Bioinformatics Centre at the University of British Columbia.
He will be continuing his research in computational biology and the development and application of statistical and bioinformatics tools for the analysis and interpretation of large databases and datasets.
