Qlucore, Novo Newton Scientific Ink Software Distribution Agreement

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Qlucore has signed a distribution agreement with Novo Newton Scientific that allows the latter to market Qlucore's Omics Explorer software to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in Ireland, Spain, Italy, and South Africa.

Qlucore President Carl-Johan Ivarsson said that the arrangement with Novo Newton will increase the firm's market presence.

Tom Nugent, Novo Newton's CFO, added, "The amount of genomic data is growing very quickly, and there is strong demand for high quality solutions such as Qlucore."

Financial and other terms of the alliance were not disclosed.
