Progenra Licenses Dotmatics' Informatics Suite for Drug Discovery

Dotmatics said recently that Progenra, a Malvern, Penn.-based biotechnology company, has licensed its informatics platform to support drug discovery and development efforts around the ubiquitin-proteasomal pathway of cellular protein regulation

Marc Hixson, Progrenra's senior director for business development, said in a statement that the company chose to replace its existing informatics suite — which was provided by CambridgeSoft — with Dotmatics' platform "because of the seamless interface and ease of use which has allowed Progenra to effectively and efficiently manage their internal and external programs."

This current license provides Progenra with access to Dotmatics' tools like Browser which is an interactive query, reporting and dashboard; Studies, which captures biological assay data; and Vortex, which provides an environment for predictive analytics, visualization, and analysis of data.
