Pipeline Pilot, HIC-Up

Accelrys has released three new “component collections” for its SciTegic Pipeline Pilot platform: the Advanced Imaging Collection, which enables analysis, reporting, and archiving of images, video and associated, data; the ChemMining Collection, which allows scientists to mine and analyze the patent literature for information on drug candidates; and the Gene Expression Collection, which is based on the open source BioConductor platform and enables researchers to identify potential drug targets and biomarker candidates.

An updated version of HIC-Up (the hetero-compound information center, Uppsala) is available here. It includes information on 7,870 hetero-entities.
HIC-Up’s compound pages now contain links to the ChEBI and [email protected] databases, and links to PDBsum, ProCognate, PDBREPORT, and ReLiBase have been updated.
