Poulsen, chairman of’s board, had been senior vice-president of pharmaceutical development at Syntex (now Roche Global Development); Patel was founder and CEO of Theratech, which was acquired by Watson Pharmaceuticals last year; and O’Brien is president and CEO of O’Brien Marketing and Communications.
