People in the News: Scott Storrer

Strand Life Sciences said this week that Scott Storrer has joined its staff as president of its North American business.

In this role, Storrer will oversee the strategy, expansion, and operation of Strand Genomics, the wholly owned subsidiary of Strand Life Sciences in North America. He joins Strand from Genomind, where he served as president and CEO. Prior to that Storrer was president and CEO of MEDecision and also chief operations officer for CIGNA's Healthcare, Group Insurance, and International divisions.

Storrer has a bachelor's degree in economics and mathematics from DePauw University and an MBA from Boston University.
