Good Start Genetics has hired Mark Adams to be its chief information officer.

Adams has worked in the field of bioinformatics and data analytics for more than 15 years and has experience in the strategy, design, and implementation of informatics organizations and systems. He joins Good Start Genetics from Bridgewater Associates, where he developed data warehousing and machine learning approaches to support a hedge fund. He's also worked as a bioinformatics consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton and as vice president of bioinformatics at Variagenics.
