Appistry has added several new members to its scientific and technology advisory board

The list includes Brian Athey, who will serve as chairman of the board. Athey was recently tapped to chair the department of computational medicine and bioinformatics at the University of Michigan medical school (BI 1/20/2012).

Other members include Ralph Quatrano, a professor of biology and dean of engineering and applied science at Washington University, St. Louis; and Martin Leach, chief information officer at the Broad Institute.


Bruce Pasternack has resigned from Accelrys' board of directors, according to documents filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
