SRA International has promoted John Greene to the rank of senior principal.

Greene has served as the director of bioinformatics for SRA International since 2001. He is the project director and principal investigator for the 23-person National Cancer Institute Cancer Genome Atlas Data Coordinating Center and Data Portal, for which SRA was awarded a five year, $17.9 million NCI contract last fall (BI 10/15/2010).
