NextBio has tapped Farzad (Zod) Nazem to serve on its board of directors.

Prior to joining NextBio, Nazem served as Yahoo!’s chief technology officer from 1996 until he retired in 2007. He spent 11 years as vice president of the media and web server division at Oracle and was a member of the company's product divisions management committee. In addition, he has held various technical positions at Sydis and Rolm.
