UK-based informatics company Dotmatics has appointed Shikha O'Brien to serve as vice president of business development for the company's United States operations.

In her new role, O'Brien will oversee the growth and expansion of the Dotmatics software and technology platform within the North American market.

She brings more than 10 years of experience in the drug discovery informatics arena. Prior to joining Dotmatics, O'Brien worked in Accelrys' life sciences division and at MSI.
