GenoLogics has appointed Bruce Pharr to serve as its new vice president of product management and marketing.

In his new role, Pharr will lead the implementation of GenoLogics roadmap for its LIMS system announced earlier this week (see related story this issue).

Prior to joining GenoLogics, Pharr was vice president of marketing at Symyx Technologies, which was purchased last year by Accelrys. He has also held lead marketing positions at several other technology-based companies
