Partek Signs up Gulf Scientific as Middle East Distributor

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Partek said today that Gulf Scientific, a life science technology supplier based in the United Arab Emirates, will supply customers throughout the Persian Gulf region with its software solutions.
 
Under the agreement, Gulf Scientific will market, distribute, and provide support for Partek’s Genomics Suite, Discovery Suite, QSAR Solution, and Screener Solution to a number of Middle Eastern countries.
 
The agreement covers sales of Partek’s software in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates, Partek said.
 
Partek’s software packages include statistical analysis and interactive data visualization tools.
 
Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
