Paracel Appoints New Vice-President of Sales


PASADENA, Calif.--Ward Davidson, formerly of vice-president of worldwide sales for Tripos, has been named vice-president of sales for Paracel, privately held developer of high-performance genomic data and text-analysis systems for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and government markets. Davidson will oversee Paracel's government and biotechnology sales strategies and support activities worldwide.

Davidson has more than three decades of business experience, including high-level management positions in sales and marketing in high-technology and pharmaceutical industries.
