Pangea Adds E-Commerce Exec and Board Member


OAKLAND, Calif.-- Pangea Systems has appointed Robert Williamson as senior vice-president of marketing, business development, and e-commerce, and added Michael Savage to the company's board of directors. Williamson had been a vice-president and director with the Boston Consulting Group, where most recently he led the firm's west coast healthcare practice, co-led its west coast e-commerce practice, and was a senior member of the high-tech practice. Savage has been president and CEO of Molecular Simulations since 1991 and is also a director and executive vice-president of Pharmacopeia, which acquired Molecular Simulations in June 1998.
