Pancreatic Expression Database, BioMart v. 0.6, SDMS Vision Publisher

The Institute of Cancer at the University of Bochum has released the Pancreatic Expression Database. The database is a component of the European Union’s MolDiag-Paca project,a collaboration of academic and industry pancreatic cancer research groups working together to develop molecular diagnostic tools with the aim of preventing and diagnosing pancreatic cancer.
The implementation is based on BioMart v. 0.6, and it uses the BioMart DAS annotation server to provide the 'Pancreas Expression' source in Ensembl GeneView.

Waters has announced the shipment of the SDMS Vision Publisher for its NuGenesis scientific data management system, a secure electronic repository that stores and manages myriad data types in a centralized database. With Waters Vision Publisher, labs choosing Waters NuGenesis SDMS can electronically capture primary data from a variety of laboratory devices and instruments, appending that information and associated metadata to the experimental record for investigational or manufactured products.
With SDMS Vision Publisher, scientists can also increase the utility of information collected by NuGenesis SDMS, mine and access information from NuGenesis SDMS, document discoveries electronically and better satisfy compliance requirements. The publisher is also 21 CFR Part 11 compliant-ready, featuring configurable electronic signature hierarchies, full audit trails and digital signatures.
