Nonlinear Signs US Distribution Agreement with NE BioGroup for TotalLab Line
Nonlinear Dynamics said this week that it has signed a distribution agreement with life science supplier New England BioGroup under which NE BioGroup will distribute Nonlinear's TotalLab line of products for analyzing 1D gels in the US.
The TotalLab range includes the company's TL100 general image analysis software, TL120 for automated analysis of 1D gel images, and TL120 DM product, which includes a database component to enable researchers to store and mine data across multiple experiments.
The agreement is intended to supplement Nonlinear Dynamics' US marketing team, which the company has been building out over the last few months [BioInform 11-28-05 and 07-18-05].
"We're always looking at areas in the market that we just can't handle 100 percent directly, ourselves," John Spreadbury, group sales and marketing director at Nonlinear Dynamics, told BioInform, "so having niche players in the market like NE BioGroup who have been established for many years, dealing with a certain caliber of customer, really helps us."
