Noam Shani, Kinneret Savitsky, Frank Langley, Drew Palin, Matthew Shanahan


Compugen has appointed Noam Shani as vice president of biology R&D, replacing Kinneret Savitsky, who left the company in June. Shani joins the firm from Medgenics, where he served as vice president of R&D.

PointOne Systems, a bioinformatics company integrating molecular and clinical data, has tapped Frank Langley to serve as president and CEO. Langley most recently served as president and CEO of Pel-Freez Clinical Systems. He succeeds Drew Palin, who led the company for three years. Palin will consult with PointOne during the leadership transition, the company said.

Matthew Shanahan has joined Teranode as chief marketing officer. Prior to joining the company, Shanahan served as vice president for the Global Industries Group at Documentum, and also held management positions at Accenture and Digitek.
