NCBI Introduces Tax Blast Offering Taxonomy Data


BETHESDA, Md.--The US National Center for Biotechnology Information has introduced a new service that groups Blast hits by source organism according to information from the center's taxonomy database. Tax Blast generates reports based on the list of source organisms found in a particular Blast hitlist and can be found from the Taxonomy reports link in the regular Blast output page.
