MolSoft’s ICM Software Available for Free Trial, And through BioNavigator

Premium

SAN DIEGO--MolSoft, a computational biology software developer here, has agreed to incorporate its ICM software into eBioinformatics’ web-based workspace, BioNavigator. MolSoft also announced separately that ICMLite, a version of ICM, is now available free for trial use at its website.

The ICM product is a standalone viewer and computational biology program with OpenGL-based graphics that display a model in solid ribbon, wire, ball, stick, xstick, cpk, and dot surface. Available on a variety of platforms, ICMLite enables manual docking, interactive model building, perspective, interactive zoom, independent clipping planes, eight switchable and combinable image buffers, flexible secondary structure assignment, chemical bonds or topological trees, image annotation, multiple object loading and display, and selection of atom/residue/molecules by types and patterns. It is available for download at http://www.molsoft.com/download.htm.
