Mitsubishi To Sell Waban Software in Japan

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) - Mitsubishi Space Software will sell Waban Software’s Waban Explorer PGx and Waban SCE in Japan, the companies said today.
 
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
 
In a statement, Himanshu Oberoi, president of Waban, said the deal grew out of the global growth of clinical pharmacogenomics, biomarker development and personalized medicine and the increased demand in Asia for Waban products.
 
Waban Explorer PGx provides a secure, 21 CFR11-compliant platform for integrating multiple data sources “and enables exploring, browsing, querying and running analyses using multiple analysis tools,” the company said.
 
Waban SCE offers a controlled environment for managing analyses and reporting in a 21 CFR11-compliant manner with a full audit trail and traceability, Waban added.
