Mike Grey, Robert Franza

Structural Genomix of San Diego has appointed Mike Grey, formerly president and CEO of Trega Biosciences, as chief business officer and a member of its board of directors. Grey will be responsible for the business, financial, and legal functions of SGX.

Robert Franza, founder and director of the Cell Systems Initiative at the University of Washington School of Medicine, has joined the advisory board of Seattle-based technology incubator Stratos Product Development.

“Dr. Franza’s exposure to the latest research in molecular biotechnology gives us insight that is rather extraordinary for a product development firm,” said Al Stephan, Stratos CEO.
