Michael Cosgrove, Tony Colangelo, Olle Landstrom


Michael Cosgrove, formerly director of enterprise systems at image informatics firm Scimagix, has left the company, BioInform has learned. Scimagix was acquired by image analysis software firm BioImagene in November [BioInform 11-15-04]. Cosgove said he is “currently exploring other opportunities within the bioinformatics arena.”

Spotfire has appointed Tony Colangelo as vice president of North American sales and Olle Landström as vice president of engineering. The company said it is also adding new field representatives in all regions to support 2005 sales initiatives for its DecisionSite product line. Colangelo previously served as senior vice president at Bristol Technologies, while Landström held a number of positions at IAR Systems, most recently serving as CTO.
