LJL Biosystems’ Private Placement Brings $19 M



UNNYVALE, Calif.--LJL BioSystems has entered into purchase agreements for a private placement of 1.76 million shares of common stock at $11 each to new and current investors for approximately $19 million. The company intends to use net proceeds from the private placement for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
