Lion Bioscience Opens US Sales and Marketing Office

AMBRIDGE, Mass.--Lion Bioscience last week celebrated the opening of its American subsidiary here, in offices next door to the Lion Bioscience Research, which was established in June last year to serve Lion's $100 million alliance with Bayer.

David Chilvers, Lion's vice-president for life science informatics sales and marketing, said the company is scaling up to meet increased demand from US life sciences customers for its integrated information technology services. Lion's existing US customers include Paradigm Genetics in Raleigh, NC and Tripos in St. Louis.
