Lexogen, Bluebee to Integrate Products for RNA-Seq Data Analysis

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Transcriptomics company Lexogen has partnered with high-performance genomics solutions provider Bluebee to make its QuantSeq analysis pipeline available on Bluebee's cloud-based genomic analysis platform

Lexogen's QuantSeq pipeline supports its QuantSeq 3' expression profiling library preparation kits. The pipeline uses a gene counting approach to analyze transcriptome data, and does not require users to calculate FPKM values making it faster and more straightforward, the company said.

"We believe that implementing a ready-to-use data analysis pipeline on the Bluebee platform is an important step forward in making QuantSeq the most easy-to-use and cost-effective gene expressing profiling workflow available," Lexogen CEO and Founder Alexander Seitz said in a statement.

Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
